Katie’s Krops is committed to ensuring that financial obstacles are never a barrier for children to attend classes in the Katie’s Krops Garden. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we are proud to offer scholarships in the amount of $80 to help offset costs associated with participation in the Outdoor Classroom. A limited number of scholarships are available and will be evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Important Notes:

Scholarship funds may be used exclusively for classes/activities in the Katie’s Krops Outdoor Classroom and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Receiving a scholarship does not guarantee a spot in a class. Recipients will be required to register for each program individually. Many classes fill quickly.

The Outdoor Classroom is a 100% outdoor venue. Applicants should possess age-appropriate social and emotional skills, be comfortable outdoors for extended periods, and able to stay engaged during hour-long learning sessions and hands-on activities with varying degrees of guidance.

While we make every effort to provide a welcoming and supportive environment, students should want to be outdoors, actively participate, follow instructions, and interact respectfully with peers and educators. We are committed to fostering a kind, inclusive space and cannot wait to welcome you into the garden soon!

Eligibility:

Children ages 5 to 12 may apply.
One application must be submitted per child.
Scholarships are awarded based on need and availability.
